Job Location: Coimbatore
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Ability to translate ideas and business requirements into fully functioning ETL architecture and workflow.
- Build client relationships and participate in business development and proposal work to grow a strong data engineering sub-practice.
- Perform data analysis, data migration, performance tuning & change control.
- Ability to transform the data types to its most useful and effective formats during data transformation, managing data lineage and performing impact analyses.
- Bring in-depth understanding on Relational, Big Data and Cloud technologies, with extensive experience of applying them to large scale implementations.
- Experience designing and implementing data strategies in enterprise level data stores/marts.
- Ability to integrate other applications into centralized DB through API Application programming interface.
- Perform Unit/QA/Regression testing to ensure the correctness and completeness of the changes before live deployment.
- Strong software development and debug/troubleshooting skills.
- Advanced skill in creating and maintaining technical documentation.
- Well versed with concepts of Normalization and De-normalization.
- Exposure to workflow management tools like Apache airflow.
Technical Skills:
- 7+ years of experience in Data Warehousing and ETL space, with 3+ years of experience as a Data / ETL Architect.
- Hands on experience in Agile-SCRUM SDLC and has ability to break down the business requirements into sizable story points aligned with MVP (Minimum Viable Product) followed by additional features through various sprint releases.
- Hands on experience in cloud-based platforms like MS Azure, AWS, Google Cloud etc., MS Azure, SQL and MS T-SQL stored procedures would be preferred.
- Hands on development experience in Python (Technical Certification in Python and/or R Programming)
- Hands on experience in snowflake schema modelling
- Experience in data visualization tools like Power BI, Tableau, Qlikview, etc., Power BI Preferred
