Responsibilities –
- Write reusable, testable, and efficient code
- Design and implement of low-latency, high-availability, and performant applications
- Integration of user-facing elements developed by front-end developers with server side logic
- Implementation of security and data protection
- Integration of data storage solutions
- Performance tuning, improvement, balancing, usability, automation
- Work collaboratively with design team to understand end user requirements to provide technical solutions and for the implementation of new software features.
- Hire and Mentor Junior Developers
- Prioritize & manage multiple projects at one time
Requirements and qualifications:
Good communication and documentation skills
3+ years of experience with most or all of the following: Python & Django, relational DBs, jQuery & JavaScript, HTML, CSS/LESS, Git
Experience in Angular, ReactJS, and AWS will be a plus.
Extra credit for experience with any of the following libraries: NumPy, SciPy, Pandas, Matplotlib, Seaborn, Bokh, Plotly, SciKit-Learn, Theano, TensorFlow, Keras, NLTK, Gensim, Scrapy, Scapy, nose, iPython, wxPython, Pillow, Stasmodels, Pipenv, PyTorch, Caffe2, Pendulum, Dash, PyFlux, Fire, Imbalanced-learn, Flashtext
