Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Create multidimensional analysis solutions with SQL Server Analysis Services
• 4+ years of experience in Understanding of Data Warehouse concepts and structures, cubes and ETL processes.
• Think innovatively to provide solutions for the complex issues.
• Experience in handling multiple CUBEs with the data.
• Connect, import, shape, and transform data for business intelligence (BI)
• Experience in developing Visualization reports and dashboards using PowerBI Desktop
• Visualize data, author reports, and schedule automated refresh of reports
• Familiarity with Data Integration and testing.
• Participate on designing and implementing a Data Mining solution and having some knowledge on this would be a plus.

Skills Requirements:

• Strong analytical skills to analyze the huge volume of CUBE / Data warehouse
• Design, Develop, Implement and Maintain SQL Server 2008/2012 database objects and services.
• Ideal candidate should have knowledge in Creating Partitions and Aggregations.
• Adequate knowledge in Cube Deployment and Processing the OLAP Cubes.
• Expertise in connecting SSAS Multidimensional/Tabular Models in Power BI Desktop.
• 1+ years of experience for the desired candidate who need to be excellent in writing DAX in MS Power BI Desktop.
• Need to have experience in creating calculated measures and columns with DAX in MS Power BI Desktop.
• Expert knowledge using advanced calculations using MS Power BI Desktop (Aggregate, Date, Logical, String, Table).
• Good at creating different visualizations using Slicers, Lines, Pies, Histograms, Maps, Scatter, Bullets, Heat Maps, Tree maps, etc.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communications (verbal and written) skills.

Primary Skills

• Expertise in connecting SSAS Multidimensional/Tabular Models in Power BI Desktop.
• Hands-on experience in both MDX & DAX expressions.
• Strong experience and understanding of DAX tabular models
• Experience in working with DAX (Power Pivot).

Secondary Skills

• Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment
