• This position is for a business / data analyst on a feature team that develops / enhances and maintains functionality related to regulatory and other requirements for applications that host Instrument / Securities reference data within Bank.
• The candidate will be responsible to review change notifications from data vendors, assess the impact of the notifications and document that for the development team.
• The candidate will work with the local manager / lead to deliver assigned tasks on time, with quality, following all stipulated processes.
• He / she will also work closely with the global team members / management and ensure that everyone is on the same page on things that matter to the team.
• The candidate will also adapt to a high performance work culture in the team.

Responsibilities

• Review change notifications from data vendor

• Assess the impact of the notification after proper analysis of the notification and the data in the application

• Work with data vendor (external to the firm) to understand the change if required

• Document the impact of the change and work with the Technology (Development) team to get the changes prioritized as per urgency and priority

• Identify areas for improvement and gaps in the whole process and bubble them up and debate on them to get the right attention.
