Job Title: Senior Full Stack Engineer

Location: 100% Remote

Experience: 4 – 6 years

Notice Period: Immediate to 30 days (if serving)

Overview:

They are looking for an experienced full stack engineer who is exceptional at implementing modern, responsive user interfaces and building a back-end API layer. Candidates should have experience designing and developing modern ETL pipelines handling terabytes of data.

A successful candidate will have strong technical skills, deep understanding of software architecture, great at team dynamics, and has a track record of successful delivery using Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Must haves:

• Java
• Rest API Development
• React or Spark (at least one – strong Spark knowledge is critical)
• Elastic search,
• Aurora, Oracle, NoSQL Databases (at least one or two)
• AWS know how
• Agile/Scrum Experience

To be considered for this position, you must:

• Have experience developing cloud native applications in AWS
• Be a strong Java developer with at least 6years’ experience working with a variety of Java applications and frameworks (e.g., Spring) and Microservices architectures.
• Have knowledge or experience working with Tomcat, Jetty or WebLogic.
• Experience working with Spark/Hadoop frameworks.
• Have good understanding of web security practices.
• Experience building, scaling and tuning ETL pipelines consuming terabytes of data.
• Have worked with a wide variety of databases, including both relational databases and NoSQL databases such as Aurora, MongoDB, and Elasticsearch.
• Hands on with AWS products such as SQS, EMR, Batch, Lambda and S3.
• Have experience building web applications that leverage single-page architectures using frameworks such as React interfacing with RESTful APIs
• Understanding of CICD and DevOps practices. Knowledge of Jenkins is a plus.
• Possess a strong knowledge of Agile Scrum or Kanban process and tools like Jira and Confluence.

• Experience in developing server less applications in AWS
