PowerBI development: data processing, modelling, transformation and building Visualizations
ETL
ETL Development Using ETL tools and Techniques
MS SQL
Developing Stored Procedures, views, joins, aggregates, temp tables, etc
Data Processing
Understanding and implementing data processing techniques
Data Transformation
Understanding and implementing data transformation techniques
Data Analysis
Data Trouble shooting (Source files, Source systems, Databases,Etc)
Testing
Thorough testing of unit and data set groupings is required
BI Support and Analysis
Analyse, design and trouble shoot data, visualizations and ETL packages
Visualizations
Building reports, dashboards and other visualizations
Presentation and Communication
Verbally communicate with team members and other stakeholders, present to small groups
Verbal Requirements Elicitation
Elicit requirements verbally without the benefit of documentation

Database Management
Admin, structure, design, keys, constraints, triggers, etc
MS SSIS
ETL development using SSIS – file and data processing, transformations, calculations and loading
Dax
DAX coding within PowerBI
Documentation
Solution technical documentation, documenting the how of the solution
Research and Implementation
Research new technology, functionality, methodologies, etc advise and implement
C#
Building and reading scripts within SSIS
Excel
Pivot models, reports, graphs and general excel functionality (formulas, calcs, etc)
Dimensional Modelling
Data design using Ralph Kimbal methodology – Star Schemas
Quality Assurance
Ensure development standards and best practice standards are adhered to
