Technical Data Analyst
We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Technical Data Analyst role in Data & Analytics
Team. This is a global role and will be home-based.
The opportunity:
Join our growing data & analytics team as a Technical Data Analyst to support our Data Strategy
and deliver key insights and reporting to our internal customers and external Clients. This role is
to be a business partner, a data and reporting expert, as well as a data community member.
We are now at a pivotal point in our data strategy journey. This role is a fantastic opportunity
for technical data experts who are looking for a new challenge in a fast-paced, exciting, and
data-driven company.
The role
Your responsibilities will include:
• To enable the delivery of insights and analytics on internal performance for internal
consumption or external reporting
• Deliver timely reports and dashboards as required using visualisation tools. This is a
combination of regular and ad-hoc MI returns to Clients, Regulators, and internal
customers
• Responsible for monitoring requests that come into the Global Data & Analytics team
and ensuring requirements are gathered and delivered in accordance with the global
delivery process
• Business collaboration with Data Owners and being a member of the Data Governance
Committee
• To be a technical point of contact as part of the Data & Analytics team to answer data
and reporting related questions and queries
• To develop, support, and maintain the Enterprise Data Warehouse, ensuring that
thedata is available and all jobs have been successful • To support technical integrations
• Deliver in line with best practice; ensure all requirements and specification documents
are delivered for visualisation dashboards
• Collaborate globally with operational teams to deliver demoes and training for all new
developments
• Identify reporting automation and efficiency opportunities and socialize/recommend
accordingly
• To support the Data Governance Committee and Centre of Excellence.
About you – Knowledge and Experience Essential:
• Knowledge and experience of the Insurance Industry with a good understanding of the
full Insurance lifecycle
• Agile experience JIRA or similar tools is an advantage but not essential
• Power BI and/or other data visualisation tools experience
• Must have great attention to detail

• Strong knowledge and experience in using SQL Developer, SSRS, Excel, Azure/Cloud,
and Python/R
• Data Engineering, Architecture, and Integrations.
