Roles and Responsibilities

• Undertaking primary research for Chemical & Pharma Industry reports
• Monitoring news and events
• Financial modelling: new models, Scenario analysis, updating, valuation and forecasting
• Preparing and making meaningful company reports, sector notes and thematic research
• Tracking and analyzing regulatory changes and their impact on the sector
• Building and updating industry databases
• Developing and maintaining client marketing and presentation materials

Desired Candidate Profile

• A good understanding of the Chemical & Pharma industry is required.
• Sound knowledge of financial statement analysis and security valuation methodologies like DCF, relative valuations etc.
• Proficiency with financial research tools such as Bloomberg, DataStream, Fact Set
• Excellent written and oral communication skills with attention to details
• Strong analytical / problem solving skills with ability to perform data analysis
• Good data management and analysis skills
• Experience of working in Institutional Research Desk of Stock Broker will be preferred.
• Ability to write reports independently.
• Reasonable verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work under minimal supervision
• Proficient with MS Office/Open Office
