BASIC QUALIFICATIONS· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Math or other relevant stream
- Minimum 3+ years of experience as a data analyst
- SQL Knowledge and Hands-on experience is a must
- Hands on experience on building insightful dashboards and reports
- Fast turn-around of data related ad hocs
- Strong communication skills
- Aptitude for organization, flexibility and producing results in a fast paced environment
- Strong bias for action and ability to prioritize
Job summary
Amazon Retail India team is looking for a hands on, business oriented and highly motivated data analyst to work on a range of business problems. The candidate should be comfortable handling data from multiple sources, build efficient SQL queries, automate queries as per requirements for business reviews using Excel/ VBA macro, understand KPIs that impact team’s performance and should be curious about what/why/how part of any business problem
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS· Experience with E-Commerce, Retail and Business Analytics would be an advantage
- Advanced SQL skills, fluent in R and/or Python, advanced Excel skills
. Prior experience with Category teams
The position will be based in Amazon’s office in Bangalore.
