Job Location: Trivandrum/Thiruvananthapuram (WFH during Covid)
Job Purpose / Role
The data engineer in the Global Data Office will support our advanced analytics team in the development of and implementation around our existing and prospective data solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Support designing and building data pipelines together with our data engineers
- Work with stakeholders on requirements elicitation and specification
- Understand input data sources across AGCS
- Monitor existing analytical solutions
Key Requirements
- Very good skills in Python and SQL is a must
- Experience developing with Apache Spark
- Experience using cloud based solutions (e.g AWS, Azure, GCP, Snowflake)
- Knowledge of the Palantir Foundry platform.
- Knowledge of Machine Learning and predictive modelling techniques
- Experience with JavaScript or CSS
- Experience in designing and writing ETL / data pipelines mandatory
- Solid understanding of writing code that is readable and well-structured
