Roles and Responsibilities

Activities to be performed :

• Create, write, analyse, and present well structured, logical and easy to understand research deliverables.
• Present findings in a clear, concise, and grammatically correct business English (both written and verbal)
• Organize research findings into meaningful deliverables to the requestor
• Obtain training on the relevant databases, acquire knowledge required to use the databases efficiently
• Provide input on best practices and process optimization opportunities
• Churn out varied work requests in short turnaround time
• Gain knowledge, training and work on projects requiring experience in automation/data analytics/visualisation tools (like Tableau/Power BI/QlikView/Alteryx/UI Path/Google App Script)

Ability to analyze and anticipate client requests, interpret asks and act according to expectations

• Structure, organize, and synthesize information to develop key insights at company/industry/business level
• Gather financial, industry-specific market and business information, using internal and external research resources such as industry journals, analyst reports as well as information databases
• Produce relevant takeaway in concise and succinct manner to appeal to executive leadership
• Conduct research and develop insights on strategic business issues, ownership issues and advances in technology.

Good reasoning and analytical ability

• Strong understanding of finance fundamentals income statement, balance sheet, cash flows, financial ratios
• Use your research and analytical skills to spot market trends and opportunities
• Capable of designing new research approaches which enhance quality and productivity

Good understanding of databases (CapitalIQ, ThomsonOne etc., TalkWalker) will be an added advantage

Good working knowledge in MS Office tools

Effective verbal and written communications skills

Self-motivated and capable of working both independently and in a team

Self-starter with ability to multi-task and constantly reprioritize

Sharing knowledge and guiding the team members

Education/qualifications:

CA-Inter/CA/CFA/MBA in Finance with 2-4 years of experience in Research.
