Job description
Role Objective
The Asst Manager-Research Methodology works closely with the AVP Research Methodology on projects related to research on audience measurement. The scope of the role is to monitor, develop and advance the methodology supporting all syndicated products as well a working closely with Sample Design, Sample Control, Technology and Product Leadership staff on the methodological design of new products.
Job Responsibilities
Functional Competencies:
- Support Measurement Science team in applying appropriate quantitative methods to research projects as well as syndicated and new products
- Provide technical assessments, strategy, and execution recommendations for designated research projects
- Develop and manage methodological documents and information
- Develop methodological best-practices for audience estimation
- Work with cross-functional teams develop critical research solutions and methodologies to address key business issues
- Design scope of analytics and execute the same for large and small project
- Apply critical thinking to solve complex data related problems
- Should be comfortable working with large data sets.
Technical Skills
- Advanced knowledge of descriptive statistics and intermediate knowledge of inferential statistics
- Should have knowledge of statistical computer packages (e.g., SPSS, SAS, Python, R) preferably with Python
