Description:
We are looking for an Automotive Controls Engineer with a strong background in working with CAN bus data,
particularly in a signal decode setting. We are embarking on a new and exciting project focused on vehicle
maintenance using digital technology and need a team member who is skilled in working with data feeds of
vehicle ECU.
Responsibilities:
- CAN Bus data decoding, decipher and extraction
- Engage in all aspects of release cycles including requirements review, work estimation, design, implementation, testing, and review.
- Work effectively with Data Scientists to interpret and analyze data extracted from fleet vehicles.
- Identify gaps in requirements or designs both in hardware and software.
Minimum Job Qualifications:
- 3+ years of Automotive Engineering experience focused on engines.
- Python
- IoT and CAN Bus experience.
- Knowledge of J1939 and OBD2.
- Understanding of various heavy vehicle engines.
- Effective time management skills with the ability to juggle multiple tasks and shifting requirements.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- B.S in Automobile Engineering or equivalent degree in a related field.
- Background in analytics
