• The key responsibilities that demonstrate the variety of roles that the organisation expects the position to fulfil, develop and deploy CI and CD systems for cloud applications.
• Write application deployment automation using industry standard deployment and configuration tools.
• Provide systems support including responding to monitoring alerts.
• Assists development teams with branching, merging, build scripts, CI/CD pipelines, and release procedures.
• Design and implement scripts, tools, and automated processes to improve build and release process.
• Support the agile software development process among cross-functional teams to ensure product deliver, and understand customer situation, identify pain points and risks, define solution, and safeguard the implementation.
• Main job tasks include guiding implementations in BSP to achieve better development and operation management for hybrid solution, provide advisory on methodology, processes, and tools.
• Build and setup new development tools and infrastructure.
• Install and configure solutions, implement reusable components, translate technical requirements, assist with all stages of test data, develop interface stubs and simulators.
• Working on ways to automate and improve development and release processes.
• Build end-to-end continuous integration and delivery pipelines.
• Testing and examining code written by others and analysing results.
• Initiate and participate in innovation, leveraging intelligent technology and products.
• Also, this role performed out of India, supporting customers in U.S.
• In terms of Scope of Authority, this position requires, high Level of Independence.
• The individual needs to function independently with minimal support, this position will be critical to drive CI/ CD changes, deployments and would need high level of initiative with high level of innovation.
• It also involves stabilization and improvement of the current processes both proactive and reactive
• As an Individual Contributor, in this role is expected to be self-governed, self-led, take complete ownership for the expected deliverables.
• An Individual Contributor will also Delegate/Mentor/Train all development and operational Activities to a delegate.
• Further, the scope will also include individual assignments, but may include assigning, coordinating, and holding others accountable for deliverables and responsibility for sharing best practices across other systems/teams

Geographic Responsibility:

• This position is based out of Bengaluru, GBS India, primary geographic responsibility includes NNI (United States).
• This role requires collaboration with CoE, SMEs, Vendors across geographic areas and continuous interaction and communication with stakeholders in the above-mentioned areas of the organization, with frequent meetings and calls

Qualifications

• Master s degree, bachelor s degree or similar graduate degree in relevant field (Software Engineering or Computer Science) and relevant business experience

• 6+ years of experience in a software engineering or developer role in areas such as API development, Integration solutions, webservices etc.

• More than 3 years hand-on experience with Azure DevOps (ADO) release management, including CI/CD setup, GIT, Maven etc.

• Hands-on experience in continuous delivery and continuous integration of CI/CD pipelines

• Proficient and hands-on expertise with Git, Git Flow, Azure DevOps

• Strong programming and scripting knowledge (Python, Ruby, PowerShell etc.)

• Strong knowledge of software configuration management systems and source code version control systems

• Knowledge of release process on Salesforce & MuleSoft is a plus

• Strong communication skills and teamwork effectiveness in a fast-paced, corporate environment

• Experience working with other Integration platforms is a plus

• Experience in cloud product development and operation, familiar with software deployment and release procedure.

• Experience in end-to-end DevOps pipeline involving continuous integration through continuous delivery and deployment would be an added advantage

• Customer oriented and effective problem resolving skills. Being able to work under pressure.
