Roles and Responsibilities
Objectives of this Role
• Work collaboratively and effectively to promote teamwork, diversity, equality and

• Work in partnership with colleagues within the Co. to support its strategic priorities.
• Perform other duties as assigned in support of the mission and goals of the Co. as a
market leader in providing insights and data to various clients and Institutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Sales, R&D, and IT) to achieve strategic
objectives and priorities related to client delivery.
• Lead and build a team, ensure timely reporting to the senior management on any
challenges and obstacles in the research and development process.
• Assist with scoping methodological assessment of business and biodiversity. You will
work closely with the Research and Development team to research and develop new
NCX methodologies and improve existing ones.
• To synthesise and visualise model outputs, generate maps and summary reports to
inform the clients.
• To process, integrate, analyse, and visualise species and ecosystem data for various
projects and purposes.
• To build and run models of the distribution and habitat of both terrestrial and aquatic
species of the region of interest and present the findings to various external and internal
audiences and publications.
• Support sales and client services with client-specific research requests.
• Responsible for overseeing the entire development process of new products and
programs within the organisation, from the initial planning phase to implementation or
production and communicating the same with other teams.
Desired Candidate Profile
Required Skills and Qualifications
• Minimum 2 years of experience in the field of environmental/ecology/biodiversity
research or corporate delivery.
• Good understanding of issues related to the integration/mainstreaming of biodiversity
at all levels (local, national, regional, and global levels) in all sectors (biodiversity and
non-biodiversity sectors of economies), development projects, programs, policies etc.
• Experience in working on biodiversity/environment conservation projects/initiatives
will be an added advantage.
• A critical thinker with attention to detail. A storyteller with excellent writing,
communication, and public presenting skills.
• A team player who can collaborate across a diverse global team.
• Self-motivated, resourceful, and multitasker.
• Preferred to have a working knowledge of GIS Software and computer languages like
Python and R, strong Microsoft Office skills and knowledge of time series analysis.
• Prior knowledge of LCA software and handling climate datasets will be an added
advantage.
• Master’s degree or higher (full time) in Biodiversity/ Environmental Sciences/ Ecology/
Sustainability/ Forestry/ Wildlife Management
