1. US healthcare knowledge- EHR/ EMR, Hospital Information System, Healthcare Registry, CPOE knowledge, HIPPA, HL7, FHIR, Meaningful use stages, MIMPS, MACRA, Medicare, Medicaid, US healthcare domain.
2. Measure knowledge- CQM , PQRS, NQF, HEDIS etc.
3. Codes in healthcare- ICD, CPT, SMONED, Rx norm, LOINC etc.
4. BA SKILLS- Requirement gathering, Requirement analysis, Gap analysis, Requirement documentation, Uses case writing, User story writing, Product backlog management, Test case review, Stakeholder management.
5. Process- Understanding of SDLC, Models of SDLC, Waterfall model, Agile scrum model.
6. Technical knowledge- Should understand database, should be able to run basic SQL queries.
7. Reporting knowledge- Knowledge on reports, Experience on BI intelligence tool e.g. Tableau, Spotfire etc.
