– The ideal candidate for this role should have a thorough hands-on grounding in statistics, machine learning and programming
-The ideal candidate should be able to evaluate several options for variety of prediction tasks independently and turn business requirements into modelling recommendations.
– This will involve :
a. Brainstorming along the relevant modelling criterion
b. Model creationevaluation
c. Model deployment
d. Model implementation
e. End to end data science pipeline integration
– The candidate should possess :
a. Knowledge of a wide array of generally used models in regressionclassification – such as Decision Trees, GLMGAM, Random Forests, SVM, BoostingBagging techniques etc.
b. Knowledge and implementation skills of both – supervisedunsupervised learning.
c. Knowledge of relevant underlying mathematical constructs
– Strong knowledge in programming
– The candidate should be able to collaborate effectively with a wide team of business analysis and senior business stakeholders to drive at recommendations of what is to be modelled, how it is to be modelled and the develop clear view of the end to end data science pipeline for achieving the task.
