Position: Software Engineer/Sr Software Engineer/Technical Lead
Experience: 3+ yrs
Job Location: Airoli, Navi Mumbai.
Preferred Background and Experience :
– Minimum 3+ years of experience in MSBI (Microsoft SSAS, SSIS, SSRS and Power BI) work- stream with experience in designing, developing, debugging & maintaining BI reports/dashboards.
– In-depth experience on Power BI and Cloud services.
– Hands-on experience deploying the PBI service to mid-market and/or enterprise-scale organizations.
– Must understand infrastructure (Security, Governance, Cloud Deployment strategies) to be successful in this role
– Exposure to the migration of on-premise to the cloud as well as another tool to Power BI
– Experience with other Data Visualization and BI tools (nice to have)
– Strong data modeling and SQL fundamentals
Requirement Details:
Designing and developing Microsoft BI solutions:
Assess, capture, and translate complex business issues and requirements into structured analytics use case, including rapid learning of industry/domain/ client dynamics and development of effective work-stream plans.
– Implementing complex Power BI applications (which includes establishing gateways, integrating with multiple sources, use of DAX and M, and enterprise-scale deployments)
– Implementing standards and best practices for the effective and efficient delivery of enterprise BI, to achieve optimal performance and focus on end-user experience
– Design and Build Data services including Power BI, ADL, AML, ABS, and other services within the Azure Analytics framework.
– Identify and troubleshoot business process, data quality or performance issues that show up in the reports and subsequently communicate to resolve and eliminate problems.
– Support business development efforts (proposals and client presentations).
– Estimate effort and cost for a Microsoft Business Intelligence solution.
– Lead and mentor junior resources.
