Job Location: Chennai
Power BI and Azure Analysis Services Devops will be responsible for creating Power BI report
The Devops candidate will need to:
Be able to understand data relationships and translate to models in Azure Analysis Service
Analyze and build new reports in Power BI.
Benchmark performance
Automate deployment
Build real time/batch data ingestion from multiple sources using Azure Data Factory / Java spring boot / Databricks-Spark
Analyze and build new reports in Power BI.
Be able to work with various data sources
Analyze and benchmark reporting performance
Deploy to various non-prod and prod environments
Migrate to Azure / Work with Azure services
Work with existing data extraction methods to feed reporting platform
Work on POC to prove out any technologies
Requirements
Experience Required: 3 to 5 years
Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and execute tasks across multiple projects with tight deadlines and aggressive goals.
Ability to understand complex issues and clearly articulate complex ideas.
Build and deploy BI Solutions
Good understanding of Data Ingestion techniques using Azure Data Factory, SSIS or similar technologies
Maintain and support data analytics platforms (e.g. Power BI)
Create tools to store data (e.g. OLAP cubes)
Conduct unit testing and quality test across BI development activities
Evaluate and improve existing BI systems
Create Visualizations and reports for requested projects
Develop and update technical documentation
Communicate Data collection Issues or Report Disruptions to Business Partners
High energy self-starter, detail and quality oriented and able to work independently
Follows all standards, policies and procedures
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills along with excellent research and problem solving skills
Technical Skills
At least 2+ years in developing reports and dashboards in MS Power BI.
Ability to write SQL queries
