This role will be reporting to the Chief Risk Officer (based out of Europe) and will be responsible for servicing data queries from business divisions. The analyst we are looking for is not just a task performer, but a colleague doing the right things in the right way.
Main Responsibilities
- Extracting data from MS database via SQL-queries on the request
- Writing complex SQL queries using sub-queries, “with .. as” and temporary tables
- Design and development of the data structures for reporting (tables, views, data marts, OLAP)
- Design and development various reports and dashboards for the operational units in MS SSRS and MS Power BI
- Development and support of the activity reports for partners (providing the list of activities done by company for banks and other financial institutions from different countries)
- Provide analytical support for other business projects, such as building statistical, economical, or forecasting models
Qualifications and Experience
- At least 3 year of relevant experience working with SQL queries, preferably in collection companies, banks, financial organizations, or telecoms
- Advanced MS SQL knowledge is a must (complex queries, procedures and functions, query optimization)
- Good Excel knowledge
- Strong proficiency in the MS Office suite
- Experience in BI solutions (MS SSRS, Power BI recommended)
- Intention to learn analytical skills and high attention to detail
- Taking care of data accuracy
- Proactive style and high level of responsibility
