Job Location: New York, NY

The Firm: Established, Well Funded Trading, Data and Financial Technology Firm

Responsibilities

• Work Closely with Client Front, Middle and Back Office areas for Securities Borrowing and Lending and Prime Brokerage desks
• Work closely with internal and external development, testing, support and infrastructure teams.
• Understand business processes/objectives and choose/design the appropriate functional technology solution
• Elicit, capture, document and maintain business and functional requirements, process and system flows, and test plans.
• Write user stories, manage scrum calls, help prioritize backlog, sprint planning and use tools such as JIRA.
• Detail out high-level requirements into functional requirements.
• Update product documentation to reflect developed/customized product.
• Support releases of product features, prepare release notes, train users and demonstrations.
• Provide Level 2 support on rotation and Level 3 support for specific clients

Requirements

• 2+ years’ experience in the financial software industry as a Business Analyst.
• Agile methodologies
• Grasp the fundamentals of 1+ key area of Securities Borrowing / Lending and Books and Records
• Experience with or show fundamental understanding of books and records systems.
• SQL query writing skills
• JIRA
