Data Analyst – St. Peter’s Hospital – Full Time Days

The Data Analyst optimizes the collection, aggregation and utilization of data for all outcome measurement activities in the system.

What You Will Do

  • Data management for multiple projects
  • Performing data queries and reports to meet specific client needs
  • Accessing and analyzing data sets to support quality improvement teams
  • Identifying and applying appropriate comparative data
  • Investigating data quality problems and reporting issues
  • Participating in the development and design of solutions for data management proble

Education Requirements

What you will need:

  • Associate degree with 2-4 years data management experience. Bachelor degree preferredwith 1-2 years data management experience, preferably in a healthcare related field.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office software applications, including Excel, Access, Project and PowerPoint.

Experience Requirements

  • Demonstrable skills and proficiency with management of multiple databases, including report generation and graphic display/presentation of outcome measurement data.
  • Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing with all levels of staff and clients.
