We are currently recruiting for a Data Analyst for our client, a Commonwealth of VA agency. The focus of this role assist in the design and development of processes to extract data from existing databases and merge with new additional data to load into large data platforms
This contract position is long-term with funding approved annually on 6/30/2023. 40 hours per week role. The role is remote supporting our client’s offices in Richmond, VA. Local candidates to Richmond, VA area preferred.
This is a W2 role as a Stage 4 Solutions employee. Health benefits and 401K are offered.
Responsibilities
- Make stored data available in a timely and efficient manner
- Assist in the creation of decision support visualizations and data quality issues
- Design, development, testing, and validation of statistical, mathematical, and simulation models
- Creating and maintaining Oracle and MS SQL Server Databases
- Utilize Business Intelligence reporting capabilities at an enterprise level
Requirements
- 6+ years of IT experience
- 5+ years of PL/SQL, T-SQL, SQL Server 2008 R2/R2014 and SQL Server Reporting Services experience
- 4+ years of Data Modeling experience
- 2+ years of experience with SQL Server Analysis Services is highly desired
- 1 year of experience with Power BI and automated builds are desired
