We at SPAR recognize that the globally connected economy is shifting to automate these challenges through machine learning and artificial intelligence. We are seeking an experienced and talented Data Analyst with 3-7 years of experience to join our curious, passionate and innovative AI/ML team!

- 3-7 years of previous experience as a data analyst or relevant role
- Proficient with SQL: and can write well optimized queries including a variety of functions
and subqueries as well as a strong understanding of databases and business
intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Looker, etc)
- Competency in some scripting language
- Strong understanding of descriptive statistics, probability and fundamentals of linear
algebra, calculus and inferential statistics.
- Strong analytical skills, with experience solving ambiguous problems using data
- Ability to analyze data and condense data to tell a persuasive story
- Proven ability to effectively communicate with cross functional teams
- Good problem solving and analytical skills driven by curiosity to know and understand
- Adapt and flexible in learning new technologies and developments relevant to job role as
and when required
- Good communication and presentation skills
- Teamwork skills and ability to collaborate with different teams
Responsibilities:
- Provide data-driven insights that will help drive significant increase in core business KPIs
(growth, revenue, engagement)
- Create internal dashboards to monitor the health of the product and business KPIs
(growth, revenue, engagement)
- Deliver ad-hoc analyses and reports to support business needs, investigate, triage and
resolve metrics-based issues without heavy guidance
- Create and share compelling presentations that motivates and inspires the team to build
with conviction
- When necessary, build models in systems that help us better measure and understand
the results of experiments or user flows.
- Partner with teams across the organization to understand their analytics needs and
create dashboards and reporting that allow them to execute more effectively
- Provide access to data through dashboards and other analytical tools to empower
through self-service. Design, develop and maintain business dashboards to track KPIs
across marketing, operations and product linked activities
- Look for opportunities to automate insights through alerting and anomaly detection
- Implement business intelligence tools like Looker/Tableau for dashboard reports
- Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders and leadership teams
- Drive the collection of new data and the refinement of existing data sources
- Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques and communicate findings
- Work in close collaboration with data scientists to perform exploratory data analysis
(EDA) and to provide clean data for ML/DL tasks
- Ability to preprocess and cleanse data using programming languageshandle
missing/null data, outlier treatment or remove other errors
- Transform data for use by a data scientist
- Develop and implement databases, data collection systems, data analytics and other
strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality
- Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain databases/data
systems
- Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets
- Adept at SQL queries, report writing and presenting findings
- Communicating the results of your analysis by creating visualizations like charts, graphs,
writing reports and presenting information to concerned audiences
