Our client is currently hiring for a Sr. IT Business Analyst. This is a remote/work-from-home position (direct hire/full-time/salaried), with occasional need to be in the office for meetings. Therefore, candidates must reside in the Greater Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky area.
About The Job
- Directly interfaces with business leadership to clarify business needs, priorities, and strategies
- Responsible for WMS configurations and enhancements for new and existing initiatives within assigned distribution centers
- Responsible for solution design and leadership of technical team in execution of development
- Provide guidelines around milestone dates and deliverables required for integration testing
- Provide deployment packages and testing guidelines to Configuration Management and the testing COE
- Coordinate with Production Support, and Configuration Management in assessing impact to any changes promoted to parallel production environments
- Assist with defect management/resolution within SIT cycles
- Responsible for SDLC management of requirements and deliverables
- Innovate on leading edge technology such as Manhattan Active WM, SAP S/4 Fashion, Distribution IOT and Robotics, and AI/ML technologies
- Collaborate to plan regression testing and scheduling to minimize impact to overall delivery timelines; Ensure appropriate documentation of all issues and their resolutions
- Perform analysis, architecture and development of the WMS and associated subsystems (MHE, WCS), Oversee configuration activities and develop testing protocols, QA and troubleshooting guidelines
- Collaborate with other Project Team members to ensure that the system is thoroughly tested including the end to end business process functionality, interfaces, external systems, conversions, connectivity and security (user and system levels
- Act as escalation point for technical troubleshooting and systems modification, also being a key contact point and liaison to the WMS vendor
About You
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in Computer Science, Business Administration, Supply Chain, or technology related field.
- 5+ years of IT experience in complex IT Systems within Distribution Systems including responsibility and ownership for IT delivery and project teams.
- Experience required in the successful management of on-going relationships with multiple service providers (technology and services – including non-US based off-shore service providers).
- Supply Chain/Distribution Systems Experience – Broad distribution systems knowledge including order management, inventory management, material handling equipment, robotics and other innovation technology such as RFID, blockchain-powered supply chain automations.
- An understating of different integration methodologies including service based, message based and batch integration architectures using tools such as SAP PO, BODS, MQ, IBM Sterling, MuleSoft, Informatica, FTP, AS2.
- Experience managing internal and external development teams at onsite and offshore locations.
- Systems implementation skills: requirements/process analysis, conceptual and detailed design, configuration, testing, training, change management, support
- Experience with legacy system modernization
