Job Summary
As Lead Business Process Analyst, you will lead, mentor others, and personally perform activities in all facets of business process lifecycle management, which traditionally follows the Plan-Do-Check-Act (PDCA) cycle, to ensure that business processes and process support documentation align with the organization’s strategic objectives, operational needs, and process governance requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform enterprise-level business process document control/governance activities.
- Illustrate business processes using prescribed software and modeling notation.
- Author business process support documentation (e.g., manuals, work instructions, etc.).
- Conduct business process design and governance training to develop other practitioners.
- Lead and/or participate in activities to analyze business process maturity/strength.
- Provide process support services to process improvement/transformation project teams.
Must-Have Qualifications
- Demonstrated proficiency illustrating business processes (experience with Event-driven Process Chain (EPC) modeling notation using ARIS software preferred, but not required)
- Practical experience leading and/or performing typical business process management activities that occur throughout the process lifecycle (e.g., Define, Design, Implement, Monitor, Improve)
- Strong English composition skills to write and edit process support documentation which can be easily understood by the process performers
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Industrial Engineering, or similar discipline
We Value
- Recent experience working in an organization having its management systems certified to the following international standards: Quality (ISO 9001), Environmental (ISO 14001), and Occupational Health and Safety (ISO 45001).
- Experience working in a company with product development, manufacturing, sales, and distribution activities would be preferred, but not required.
- Competency in project management (PMP credential) would be beneficial.
Must Be Able To..
- Be fluent in English and able to communicate effectively
- Manage time/tasks effectively
- Work at a desk on a computer (2-4 hours at a time)
- Travel in automobiles, trains, and planes for up to eight hours, if requested
- Travel internationally, if requested (approx. 1x per year, one week in duration)
- Have a valid U.S. driver’s license
