Job Location: Pembroke Pines, FL
The person selected will be part of the TechOps team which has an important role supporting the entire organization and client requests.
Scope of Position
Junior Business Analyst with a focus on EDI for HIPAA related files. Responsible for sending, receiving and analyzing EDI files. Responsible for supporting Client Services and other department requests.
EDI Functions
- Processing HIPAA EDI Files including 837 claims, 835 remittance, 834 eligibility and 999 response files.
- Run and upload HIPAA claims and eligibility files to various trading partners based on a set schedule.
- Work collaboratively with internal departments to ensure the HIPAA transactions are provided to the trading partners timely and all reported failed records are corrected and resubmitted.
- Processes all rejection reports associated with daily remittance files, correct rejected transactions and resubmit the transaction. Work with trading partners to resolve any operational issues
Other Functions
- Create reports based on Client Services and other department requests
- Document, track, monitor and escalate support requests to ensure a timely resolution.
- Respond to email, phone calls and support requests tickets from employees and customers seeking help with software or computer related issues.
- Provide after-hours support as part of an on call rotation as needed.
- Assist in other areas when needed
Skills, Experience And Qualifications
- Must be able to adapt to the rapidly changing needs of the business based on direction and/or shifting requirements.
- Strong communication skills both oral and written
- Attention to detail and accuracy
Hardware and Software
- Experience with Microsoft Products: Office Suite
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
Location: Remote position with limited travel to the office
