Job Location: Las Vegas, NV
Whether harnessing business intelligence derived from mining its proprietary data or implementing business processes, technology is key to MoveDocs’ future success and growth. The Business Systems Analyst (BSA) will be a vital link between our information technology capacity and our business objectives by supporting and ensuring the successful completion of project work. The BSA will be involved in all stages of the project including analysis, definition, planning, execution, testing and deployment of ongoing projects while keeping them in scope, on time, and within budget. The position will report to the VP, Information Technology and is based in our Las Vegas, NV headquarters.
Responsibilities:
- Acts as an IT/Business liaison with project sponsors, stakeholders, and technology resources to gather business requirements for business initiatives
- Translates functional requirements into technical specs to be consumed by development team
- Shares responsibilities for creating product/dept. roadmaps with business leaders and the VP, IT
- Accountable for maintaining and driving product development requests to completion and corresponding production issues
- Utilizes strong project management skills to effectively communicate sprint/project updates and issues to business partners and IT management. This includes analytically driven analysis to explain complex updates/issues
- Works with tech leads and onshore/offshore developers to deliver work
- Helps design, document and maintain system processes
- Commits to understanding Med Lien business processes
- Monitors and promotes quality assurance of finished products
- Reviews and runs SQL code/queries and troubleshoots system related issues
Requirements:
- Self-starter, excellent communicator
- Strong analytical skills to break down business processes and communicate to technical team and business stakeholders
- Experience with Agile Methodology utilizing JIRA; be prepared to provide visibility on new and ongoing Scrum projects
- Solid project management skills and can work well under pressure
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
- Strong technical skills with the ability to review and run SQL code/queries and troubleshoot system related issues
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
- Able to Work in the Las Vegas office
