Position: ERP Data Analyst

Duration: 12+ month contract
Description:
· We are looking for an ERP Technical Data Analyst whose primary job responsibility is to perform various technical analysis on Master Data, Transactional, and Analytical data. The company is in the process of implementing and migrating to an ERP system with numerous business and technical integrations supporting the back office and the field. The ideal candidate is someone who can parse through existing business processes and recognize all the data elements that are being used by those processes; the candidate is someone who can create scripts for data analysis and data conversion, and who can create / maintain a data dictionary / data glossary, data definitions, etc.
· Please note this position is NOT related to enterprise analytics, business intelligence, “big data,” or data science. The successful candidate is someone who has data analysis experience in ERP related master data conversion projects.
Core Responsibilities
· Work with our business stakeholders to understand the current business processes and document various data elements and sources of data used by those processes
· Perform data analysis by reviewing existing SQL scripts and by putting together data requirements supporting those related business processes
· Work with application teams and subject matter experts to understand source systems and produce mapping documents for new solutions
· Analyze source application documentation, data models, and data profiles and compose technical requirement documents
· Work with technical teams to build the desired solution as per requirements
· Write SQL code for data profiling, data quality, and for data validation
· Devise logic procedures, prepare flowcharts, code ETL scripts, and test and debug outputs
· Perform various data validation
