Your Role and Responsibilities
As a Senior Data Engineer you will part of a project to upgrade, build and optimise a new Data Warehouse / Data Lake combination.

Responsibilities:

• Your role will encompass elements of project management to set and drive the product roadmap, allocation of resources and provision of technical leadership
• You’ll be working in a technology driven environment utilising the latest tools and techniques such as Redshift, S3, Lambda, DynamoDB, Athena and Kafka.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• Minimum 4+ years of experience in IT Industry
• Proficient in AWS Lambda and working knowledge of AWS S3 and Python scripting
• Expertise in variety of integration methods including ETL, virtualisation, semantic, FTP and SOA (etc.) both in batch and near real time Data analysis, profiling & discovery
• Expert-level understanding of working with data models
• Technical skills required include Python , SQL and ETL experience

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

• Working in Scrum/Agile is an advantage.
• Participate as an active team member, practice effective listening and effective collaboration skills.
• Attention to detail and commitment to timely, high quality and error free deliverables.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
• Proactive in managing issues and problems, comfortable with ambiguity.
