Job Detail:
Roles and Responsibilities
- Create database objects such as tables, views, stored procedures, Triggers, Functions etc.
- Good in performance tuning especially tuning complex queries, procedure and indexing strategies
Experience in Data Modelling, Database design and well versed with SQL Server best practices - Review code and suggest necessary changes wherever needed
- Create Entity Relationship (ER) Diagrams to the proposed database
- May participate in multiple projects simultaneously as a senior development team member
- Communicate with DBA Team to find the root cause of problem in production environment & provide the fixes
Desired Candidate Profile
- Min 4-6 years of experience in SQL Server programming.
- Experience in designing scalable data models.
- Good understanding of normalization principles
- Able to read and write advanced TSQL code
- Experience in using performance tuning tools like SQL plan explorer & Tuning Wizard.
- Experience tuning indices.
- Good understanding of transaction management.
- Excellent Problem-Solving skills.
- Experience with multiple SQL server versions and awareness of new functionality offered.
