Job Description:
The Data Analyst is a skilled in data pipelining and python automation as well as visualization developer and traditional data analytic methodologies. Data Analysts support the
Reporting and Visualization, planning, business analysis, data pipelining, query building,
in support of a wide variety of business functions. Data Analysts utilize effective
communication skills to answer inquiries from coworkers and leadership.
Skills:
• Provide effective visualizations and dashboards to business users to aid in decision
making.
• Intrinsic understanding of how to build effective data visualizations to achieve
business user requirements
• Uncover trends and insights from data to increase likelihood of favorable business
outcomes.
• Develop ad-hoc and standard reporting and or analyses.
• Develop SQL queries
• Develop python ETL tools and automation programs
• Ability to interact with internal clients to give and receive moderately complex
information and identify, research and analyze moderate problems.
• Communicate and present data analyses to all levels of the business.
• Knowledge of utility practices and procedures.
• Ability to solve a moderate range of visual development problems.
• Basic statistical analytics skills
Basic linear programming and model development skills
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics, Business, IT, Engineering or related field.
• Extensive experience with Power BI
• Experience with SQL querying and table construction (MS SQL Server, MySQL,
Singlestore experience is a plus)
• R or Python experience is a plus
• Experience with Agile and or Scrum
