CES provides comprehensive sanitary sewer and storm drain system evaluations, specializing in large and difficult-to-clean or access pipes, and alternative cleaning methods. We are seeking qualified candidates for the role of Data Management Specialist.
Responsibilities
- Track daily field crew production on a map
- Monitor incoming production data collected by field crews
- Review and perform quality control on data collected during various types of inspections
- Reconcile differences between inspection and production data
- Provide constructive feedback to crews on weaknesses and strengths
- Generate reports and other client deliverables
Qualifications
- Requirements
- Experience using relational databases
- Strong file management skills in a Windows environment
- Ability to learn and apply new knowledge and skills quickly
- History of working with large quantities of data from multiple sources simultaneously
- Detail oriented with strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Must work efficiently to meet demanding deadlines without sacrificing quality
- Ability to read and comprehend contract specifications and adapt standard processes when necessary
- Preferred
- Proficient use of Microsoft Access or SQL Server
- Proficient use of ArcGIS or equivalent software
- Degree in
- Civil Engineering or similar field of study
- Computer Science or similar field of study
- Geographic Information Systems or similar field of study
- Experience editing photos and videos
- Previous experience performing detailed inspections of underground assets, or related activities
- Innate ability to self-teach and rapidly become proficient using various types of software
- Strong desire to always learn more
- Valid NASSCO certification (PACP, LACP, and MACP)
