Roles and Responsibilities

Job Purpose:

Data procurement, processing, segmentation, analysis, and presentation for the purpose of preparation of Portfolio Risk Dashboards/ Other analysis

• Job Responsibilities (JR):

• Ensuring time-bound procurement of necessary data required for scheduled risk dashboard publications
• Extraction of data from repositories such as EDW, Core system databases etc., either independently or with the help of support teams such as IT, Analytics etc.
• Ensuring completeness, sanity, consistency, and accuracy of data. Ensuring consistency of data and published analysis with other published data.
• Automate extraction/ collation of data to the maximum extent possible. Automate dashboards wherever possible.
• Close liaison with key stakeholders eg. Credit Strategy & Control Unit, Collections, Analytics, Capital Assessment Team, Product Teams etc. for securing / reconciling the necessary data
• Maintaining data repository in consistent form for future referral, audit trails etc.
• Processing of large, complex data sets including working with cross-sectional and time-series data on tools like R, SAS, Python etc.
• Provide primary inferences coming out of analysis.
• Testing given hypothesis based on the data analysis. Build new hypothesis based on insights originating out of data analysis.
• Creating dash-boards and/ or visualization in other formats (eg. PPT, Tableau etc.) for presentation of final output.
