JOB DESCRIPTION
SGA’s Data Analytics (DA) team requires a self-learning Data scientist to solve complex data science problems for our US-based global clients.
Our team of 60+ Data Engineers + Data scientists already use multiple available open-source and licensed tools in the market to solve complex problems and drive business decisions.
What you will be doing?
Part of a cross-disciplinary team, work closely with other data engineers, software engineers, data scientists, data managers and business partners.
- Use expertise to build data taps, prepare/optimize data to be ready for high performing ML models
- Formulate the problems identified by a business unit
- Interact with business experts to optimize scope of AI/ML models
- Quickly experiment and select right ML algorithm and scale with more advanced deep learning techniques
- Build descriptive, inferential, predictive and prescriptive models as needed for the business context
- Work with engineers and architect to productize ML models into product and services
JOB REQUIREMENT
What you should have –
- Good understanding of consumer banking domain, effectively use expertise to build data taps, prepare/optimize data to be ready for high performing ML models
- Expereince in using data mining/data analysis methods, data tools, building and implementing models, using/creating algorithms, standard statistical techniques, and creating/running simulations, while adhering to Model Development Life Cycle (MDLC) and internal standards for model development
- Expertise to quickly experiment and select right ML algorithm, and ability to scale with more advanced deep learning techniques
- Experience in dealing of veracity of data (structured, unstructured)
- Experience in working with engineers and architect to productize ML models into product and services
- Ability to articulate ideas, actionable insights and thoughts to wide variety of audience (Senior Business Executives)
Basic Qualifications
- Master’s in computer sciences, Mathematics, Business Administration or Statistics from a reputed college
- 4+ years’ experience in Data analysis and predictive modelling (Reporting, Analytics, Prediction, AI/ML)
- Good Python / R programming skills, knowledge of AWS/GCP/AZURE cloud usage
