Job Location: Cochin

Job Responsibilities

• Study understand the requirements of a project which may be a new product from

scratch or an improved version of an existing product.

• Finding real-world solutions based on the requirements.
• Preparing concepts, option sheet, for the solution
• Design concept products using CAD, and consult with engineering and manufacturing

teammates to ensure that designs are feasible

• If necessary Analysis needs to be done using simulation software.
• Preparing standard drawings and manufacturing files.
• Identifying and communicating with vendors and suppliers.
• Develop and build prototypes
• Handling 3D printers, other hand tools, or supporting manufacturers for prototyping
• run tests to measure their level of function. Record and evaluate testing data, altering

designs as necessary to optimize the design based on DFM, DFA, DFC.

• Consult with fabrication teams during product manufacturing, advising them on design

specifications and providing physical assistance when required

• Calculate cost estimates for final product designs, and release reports to supervisors,

incorporating costs of labor, material, delivery, and overheat

• Attend weekly team meetings to provide progress reports, obtain updates on

colleagues’ progress, strategize on steps for the following week and acquire
information about projected emerging product lines

• Preparing Patent documents, Engineering/functional specification documents,

Brochures.
Job Skills & Qualifications
Required:

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering
• Two years experience in a professional engineering position
• Investigative mind inclined toward developing practical solutions to real-world

problems

• Proficiency with CAD – CATIA, SolidWorks.
• Interest in making things work as desired/required

Preferred:

• Coursework and experience in product design, particularly Appliances

• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment
• Understanding electronics and various sensors and their application

Job Types: Full-time, Regular / Permanent

Salary: From ₹15,000.00 per month
