expansion plans, we are seeking to recruit talented engineers for our offices in Mumbai, Bangalore, Pune, Hong

Kong, Singapore & Shanghai.

seeking high quality personnel to meet the existing and future needs of our exceptionally strong client base.

Senior MEP ENGINEER – MUMBAI

IDA’s offices in India have been steadily growing after securing a number of high profile projects in the region.

We are now seeking to recruit senior electrical engineer with following skills.

• Minimum of 10 years professional experience in consultancy, contracting or from an industry related

supplier

• Professional Electrical Engineer (PE), registered preferable

• Relevant experience with mission critical facilities such as data centres and banking sector would be a

distinct advantage

• Very good written and spoken English skills.

• Good people and project management skills with experience in a Client-facing role

• Good knowledge & Experience in Electrical Design & Testing & Commissioning

• Good knowledge & Experience in overall MEP Design & Testing & Commissioning

• Computer literate and have experience of using industry relevant design software such as CAD, BIM,

AMTECH, ETAP, DIALux etc.

• Experience of other building services systems would be an advantage

• Experience in managing multiple projects would be an advantage.

• Experience in leading project resources would be an advantage.

• Experience in Marketing and Business development would be an advantage.

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

• The engineer would have a high degree of autonomy and would therefore need to be highly motivated to

achieve the level of quality and work expected of him/her.

• Report directly to the India Director and work to achieve satisfactory conclusions from a highly results-

driven organization

• Project manage key large MEP jobs

• Maintain Client relationships and develop new leads

• Maintain good technical knowledge of the industry and relevant M&E design, Testing & Commissioning

and industry standards

• Maintain clear communication with other IDA offices for reporting and sharing of knowledge and

experience

• Occasional travel outside of Mumbai for project work, meetings and internal reporting and training

• Manage project resources (i.e. junior CAD, electrical, mechanical engineers) on projects successfully.

• Manage Tender process & documentation (Fee Proposal, Presentation etc.) for new project opportunity.

• Manage Client’s project expectation and maintain high quality service.

• Support / Advise IDA management on new potential clients.
