Overview

This internship will focus on Data & Analytics .

Responsibilities

• Learn to use multiple reporting platforms
• Build and make enhancements to existing reporting
• Assemble data to support Category Deep Dives and other analytical projects
• Assist in gathering materials for PowerPoint presentations
• Support other ad-hoc projects as needed
• Present out learnings from project to finance team at the end of internship
• Gain insight into Lowes Foods business, culture, and data’s integral role in decision making in retail grocery industry

PROJECT EXPECTATIONS: Intern will partner primarily with merchandising team around optimal space layout in stores with a focus on maximizing return on investments in how stores are laid out. Intern will assist in gathering information, analyzing data, and reporting out on key findings.

Qualifications

Pursuing a degree in Business Analytics or related field

Microsoft Office Suite (i.e. PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Word, etc), Communication skills, Critical Thinking, ability to manage large datasets
