Job Description

The role of the Data Analytics Intern is to develop an understanding of ReedTMS brokerage and transportation services and their relationship with IT. This hybrid program combines classroom training, hands-on practice, shadowing, and mentorship leading to the Interns’ moving into various functional positions within ReedTMS.This internship will take place during the Summer 0f 2023.

You Will Learn

• How to identify, analyze and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets.
• Support the data warehouse in identifying and revising reporting requirements.
• Manage SQL Server databases including login, server role and security administration.
• Design and publish Tableau dashboards and Crystal reports on the server to provide KPIs.
• Create and manage ETL pipelines for the data mart.
• How to organize and establish priorities
• Ability to communicate technical information to nontechnical personnel
• How to foster excellent customer service techniques
• Installation and setup of new equipment.
• Excellent prompt and written communication
• Other objectives TBD between Intern and Mentor/Supervisor

Experience

Required Experience:

0-2+ years of data/logistics experience is a plus

Education

Bachelors degree (earned or in process of earning) in IT, Data Analytics, Logistics or related field preferred.
