Job Title: Data Scientist – Reporting & Analytics
Duration: 6- Months

WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON
- Communicate data-driven insights and recommendations to non-technical audiences
- Act as an ongoing thought partner and strategic advisor to product partners to ensure insights are being interpreted and successfully applied
- Develop data visualizations and dashboards to support specific use cases
- Apply quantitative methods including but not limited to descriptive analysis univariate and multivariate tests, and statistical modeling
- Define how the cross functional team measures success by developing Key Performance Indicators and other metrics
- Guide analysis and statistical model development to spot trends and behavior
- Build models and simulations to identify theft, fraud, and other nefarious behaviors
- Design and analyze experiments to illuminate causality
- Advance data literacy with non-technical partners
WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH
This role reports into the Intelligence Reporting & Analytics team Director. You will be a key member of the Reporting & Analytics working with multiple cross-functional teams across Resilience including but not limited to Loss Prevention, Product Security, and Global Investigations.
WHAT YOU BRING
- Masters or Bachelor’s degree in Math, Statistics, Psychology, Economics, Computer Science, or similar quantitative fields.
- 5+ years of professional experience as an individual contributor in data science or analytics
- Expertise in in metric development, statistical analysis, and intuitive reporting
- Outstanding verbal and written communication, with demonstrated ability to use data and storytelling to influence business decisions
- Ability to run and prioritize multiple tracks of work, ensuring high-quality output on- time delivery
- Ability to work in multiple data environments and perform complex joins, data cleaning, and feature creation using SQL or SQL-based languages
- Significant experience coding in Python
- Proven experience building positive working relationships in cross-functional teams.
- Track record of owning high-impact work from idea to delivery
- Plus: advanced degree in quantitative subject area
- Plus: experience with detailed experimentation and establishing causality
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $80.00 – $95.00 per hour
