Job Detail:
Piper Companies is seeking a Remote Data Engineer for a world leading technology firm. The Remote Data Engineer will be joining a team building out a new software and data solution. The Remote Data Engineer must work EST hours and be a US Citizen.
Responsibilities for the Remote Data Engineer include:
- Data collection of structured and unstructured data
- ETL Development leveraging python
- Quality assurance checks on data
- Detect and understand data anomalies and trends
- Analyze the data and provide business insights
- Design, develop, and implement new microservices
- Collaborate effectively with cross functional teams
Requirements for the Remote Data Engineer include:
- US Citizenship
- 4+ years of experience in software engineering, analytics, and/or data production
- Experience programming in Python
- Experience with SQL
- Pandas and NumPy experience
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work with business stakeholders
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Analytics, Math is preferred
Compensation of the Remote Data Engineer: $90,000– $115,000 annually with a full comprehensive benefits package
