Job Detail:
Piper Companies has an exciting Data Engineer opportunity with a premier technology organization. This position is 100% remote, and will join a newly formed team focused on designing, developing, testing, and implementing secure software applications and tools. Candidates must be located in either the Eastern Standard (EST) or Central Standard (CST) Time zone to be considered.
Responsibilities – Data Engineer:
- Design, develop, implement, and support software solutions
- Work closely with others within the organization to gather requirements
- Deploying and maintaining virtual machines or containers
Requirements – Data Engineer:
- Experience with Database (eg Oracle)
- Strong background in Python
- Experience with Pandas / NumPy
- Experience with Containers / Microservices
- Automation and CI/CD experience. Ansible experience is preferred
- Strong REST and SOAP API experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, and/or relevant work experience
Compensation of the Remote Data Engineer includes:
- $90,000 – $110,000 based on experience level
