Job Description
The ideal candidate will be a Data/BI Analyst who is passionate about business intelligence, willing to learn, comfortable working in an agile environment and embraces the opportunity to connect with internal customers to define and shape our solutions. The candidate we are looking for should have some knowledge of data processing and to design report visualization.
What You’ll Do:
- Develop and maintain standardized dashboards, metrics, KPIs and reports using sales
trends, marketing, and customer success data
- Manipulate and analyze large data sets to distill insights from data trends and forecasts
- Communicate reports to users to understand reporting requirements
- Work across all lines of business to provide meaningful data analysis and ensure data
is not misinterpreted by business units
- Partner with finance, sales, and marketing teams to gain a rich understanding of
business processes, analytics and reporting needs and gaps
- Work with department Data Analysts to be self-supportive, but provide them with the
data and tools they need
- Follow processes for data reconciliation to ensure data quality and report accuracy
- Ensure data presentations and delivery is secure and in compliance with data
governance policies
- Provide Tier 1 support of BI reporting tools across all lines of business
Basic Requirements:
- Self-starter attitude, able to learn knowledge and skills as needed
- Tableau knowledge and working experience preferable
- General Relational Database knowledge and working experience
- Ability to debug and fix production/existing issues
- Service mindset, your customer has the highest priority
- Strong organizational skills, excellent written and oral communication skills
- General understanding of finance terminology/methodologies, SaaS KPI’s is a plus
- BS/BA, in Computer Science area, MS in Computer Science is a plus
- 1-3 years’ experience working with data sets
- Tableau Desktop or Professional Certification preferred
