Microsoft Windows & Devices Software team is on a journey to create new experiences on the Windows platform. A fundamental part of our strategy is having desirable and powerful devices that enable the experiences people want. Creating these new experiences and devices involves close partnership between hardware engineers, software engineers, designers, and manufacturing, along with the various industry partners that closely collaborate to create industry defining firsts. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Software Development, or a related field, or equivalent alternative education, skills, and/or practical experience is required.
- 4+ years’ experience in software engineering, programming, or development, to include Software programming experience in C#, Java, or C++.
- 2+ years’ experience with at least one of the following scripting languages: PowerShell, NoSQL, SQL, Python, Perl, JavaScript or Ruby (for data manipulation and automation tasks).
- 2+ years’ experience in creating reports with PowerBI or other big data visualization technologies.
- Demonstratable proficiency working with and building distributed cloud services using Azure or related technology stacks.
- Demonstratable proficiency with big-data-related technology stacks like Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, Cosmos, Kusto, Spark, Kafka or others.
