Job Location: St Louis, MO
Marcum LLP, one of the largest independent public accounting and advisory services firms in the country, is growing and looking for an internal Jr. to Mid-level BI Specialist with PowerBI experience to join their development team and support the firm’s Business Intelligence and Data Analytics reporting and dashboard initiatives.
The position can be based out of any Marcum LLP location, however, Hybrid/remote may be possible from an Eastern or Central time location.
Light travel, once restrictions are lifted, may be required.
This is a hands on role and PowerBI is required, as is a strong understanding of financial reporting, preferably in a professional services/accounting advisory environment.
The BI / Data Specialist will:
- work with the internal business stakeholders to generate reports and dashboards
- work with the Business Analyst and development team
- create mapping requirements, technical specifications, etc.
- design and test the solution(s).
Required
- BS degree, Accounting, Finance or IT focus preferred
- Strong understanding of financial reporting
- PowerBI and data tools (SQL Server, SSIS)
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to present to C-level team members
- Advanced analytics with Python or R is a plus.
