Education and Experience

A bachelor’s degree in a technical or medical related field preferred.

Healthcare Industry knowledge/experience a plus, Kronos experience preferred.

Environmental / Working Conditions

Works is a well-lighted, heated, and ventilated building. Hours may vary to accommodate needs of other departments. Many system management functions can only be performed during non-peak hours. Normal work hours are from 8:00am – 5:00pm Monday – Friday.

Interaction with Other Departments and Other Relationships

This position requires close interaction with various departments, vendors and outside suppliers to facilitate a quality multi-disciplinary approach to patient care.

Job Description

The IT Business Analyst – Entry is responsible for providing application support for various hospital systems and helping the business implement technology solutions in a cost-effective way by determining the requirements of a project, and communicating them clearly to stakeholders, facilitators and partners. They will be tasked defining, analyzing and documenting requirements, documenting processes, and user acceptance testing.

Physical Capabilities

Occasionally exerts a small amount of force to lift, carry, push, pull, and move objects. Work involves sitting most of the time, but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time.

Skills and Abilities

Excellent planning, organizational skills and ability to follow-through until a process is complete

Ability to occasionally manage multiple assignments and assess and adjust quickly to changing priorities

Effective verbal and written communication

Exceptional customer service skills

Ability to read and understand technical manuals
