Tableau & Alteryx – Skills & Responsibilities

• Minimum 4 years of experience in Tableau Server administration (Architect, Configure, Optimize)

• Hands on experience on installation of Tableau application (Server, Desktop)

• Setup Sites and Access policies Knowledge of Tableau repository

• Hands on experience on embedding Tableau application on different websites

• Experience on managing licenses

• Hands on experience of design and development of the BI/Tableau data infrastructure, data source creation, security (user access), change control of Tableau objects and overall Tableau support

• Development experience in the Tableau environment

• Monitor server activity/usage statistics to identify possible performance issues/enhancements

• Working with Platform support teams to constantly monitor, Tune and optimize performance (system and Application)

• Create best Practice guides and work with development teams to implement them.

• Excellent understanding of Active Directory, DNS, Load Balancer and Network firewall

• Proficient in Tableau command line utility (TABCMD, TABADMIN)

• Managing Alteryx server, setting up permissions, managing releases, building and troubleshooting flows.

• End-to-end capability to support Alteryx

• Good understanding of database concepts including writing SQL statements

• Experience Interacting with business users

• Good communication skills

• Strong troubleshooting skills
