Job Responsibilities:
- Be an integral part of large-scale client business development and delivery engagements by understanding the business requirements
- Follow best practices for naming conventions and coding practices to ensure the data model consistency
- Work closely with clients, data engineers and ETL engineers to make sure the data model is followed correctly
- Convert on-premises data warehouse data model to cloud data warehouse data model especially BigQuery
- Involved in Metadata management and data governance
Job Requirement:
- A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field with 3 – 5 years of technology experience in data Engineering projects
- Must have 3 years of minimum experience in developing the conceptual, logical, and physical data models, the implementation of RDBMS, operational data store (ODS), data marts, and data lakes on target platforms
- Normalization/Denormalization concepts
- Metadata management and data governance
- Strong Data Analysis and Physical Data Modelling experience
- Deep expertise in data modelling and structuring, experience in high volume data environments
- Good experience in schema designs and data warehousing ETL/ELT concepts
- Understand and translate business needs into data models supporting long-term solutions
- Good communication skills
- Client management skills – Ability to independently work with the client and lead the project.
