Description
We are looking for an IT professional with 8-10 years of experience who is a Tableau developer with very strong knowledge and experience in SQL and Snowflake data base. This is a customer facing role, hence, strong communication skills and customer/stakeholder management skills is a must.
Mandatory Skills:
- Excellent knowledge connecting Tableau to various data sources.
- Experience in writing complex calculations in Tableau.
- Good understanding of adding interactivity in dashboards.
- Good at creating different visualizations using Slicers, Lines, Pies, Histograms, Maps, Scatter, Bullets, Heat Maps, Tree maps, etc.
- Experience in Custom Visuals.
- Experience of publishing dashboards to Tableau server and schedule the datasets and dashboards.
- Experience in implanting row level security.
- Experience in dealing with various databases like Snowflake, SAP HANA, Oracle etc.
- Responsible for data analysis and developing reporting specs, developing reports, and developing dashboards and writing complex SQL queries. Programming languages, such as SQL, PL/SQL, HTML.
- Work closely with business users to create reports/dashboards using Tableau desktop.
- Excellent presentation skills with the ability to present insights and story line to business users.
- Attention to details with logical approach and meet goals based on the defined timelines.
- Probing mindset to find data solutions for business and problem solver.
- Innovative thinking & Go-getter.
- Experience in working on agile projects and familiar with scrum methodology.
- Excellent communication and inter-personal skills.
Nice to have skills:
- Hi-Tech Manufacturing vertical experience will be an added advantage.
- Knowledge/experience on SFDC and Gainsight will be an added advantage.
