Position description:

Objectives

• Management: The DevOps Engineer should be coordinating the efforts of product design and development

with the more business-oriented operations and production to achieve successful new product launches.

• Design and Development: Design and development of an organization’s infrastructure is one of the key responsibilities

of a DevOps Engineer, they also deploy automation which reduces risk management and uphold the infrastructure of the organization.

• Collaboration and Support: Extensive collaboration is required to yield good results. Everything ranging

from technical analyses to deployment and monitoring is handled, with the focus to enhance overall system reliability and scalability.

• Knowledge: DevOps engineers have to accommodate best practices whilst recognizing opportunities

for automation, design development, and other solutions in a comprehensive manner to boost operational efficiency.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Designing DevOps Strategy:

1. Recommend a migration and consolidation strategy for DevOps tools

2. Must have good understanding on all azure PAAS and IAAS components including Azure DataFactory, Azure Databricks, Azure App Services, AKS, Azure SQL DB, RedisDesign a secure development process

3. Create a tool integration strategy

• Implementing DevOps Development Processes:

1. Integrate source control (Any Git repo/Azure Git Repo/Bit Bucket)

2. Implement a mobile DevOps strategy

3. Managing application configuration and secrets

4. Must have good understanding on Azure DevOps

• Implementing Continuous Integration:

1. Manage code quality and security policies Implement a build strategy (Azure DevOps Build pipelines)

• Implementing Continuous Delivery:

1. Set up a release management workflow

2. Implement an appropriate deployment pattern
